About Koru

Koru Pelvic Health & Perimenopause Coaching is a boutique PT clinic for women that offers traditional physical therapy techniques as well as holistic wellness, functional nutrition, and health coaching to help meet your goals and guide you in your healing journey.

Women are made to believe that pain with periods is normal, pain with sex is their fault, pain during pregnancy is part of the deal, leaking, weakness, fatigue and pain after baby is normal, and menopause is a terrible phase of life. The truth is, this is not part of the deal and you do not have to accept anything less than feeling like yourself. At Koru Physical Therapy and Wellness, it is our mission to create a community around supporting women to live their lives to the fullest. We want to empower women to put themselves on the list, and to take care of themselves first. When a woman feels supported, everyone around her will prosper.

Allison Poole

Allison Poole, PT, MPT, WHC, owner of Koru PT and Wellness, specializes in women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy for women across the lifespan. She offers one-on-one evaluation and treatment to truly take the time to listen to your story, as your story is like no one else's; nor is your body. There is no one-size-fits-all prescription for recovery after birth or for addressing chronic low back or hip pain. Though her passion is the pelvic floor, Allison takes a whole-woman approach. Looking not only at your posture, strength, and flexibility, but also how you move, what your sleep and eating habits look like, and most importantly, what your goals are. She then will create a tailored treatment plan and home program for you to reach those goals safely and effectively.
