Reiki Level I Training with Sri Devi Healing Arts
Join Sri Devi Healing Arts for Reiki 1 Training on January 24th at Rosemont Wellness Center.
Reiki is a gentle energy healing modality originating from Japan. Rei is translated as Universal or spiritual wisdom, ki is life force. During a Reiki session the practitioner acts as conduit for healing energy from the universal field to bring relaxation to the body and mind, activating the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
Reiki Level 1 is all about how to use Reiki for self-care and care of those you love.
This training will help you tune into your awareness of energy both inside you and outside you, and begin to deepen a relationship with it.
Reiki Level I will cover:
an introduction to what Reiki is, how it works and its history.
core Reiki guiding principles
overview of the human energy system and chakras
traditional hand placements for self Reiki treatments
the importance of energetic boundaries and how to exercise them
techniques for grounding and cleansing your energy field
Level I attunement
time for experiential practice and discussion
At the end of Level I you will have all the skills to begin practicing on yourself and loved ones.
Upon completing Reiki I you will be eligible to join Reiki II. In Reiki II, you are given the Reiki symbols and level II attunements. After the Reiki II attunements you are considered qualified to begin sharing Reiki with people other than friends and family.
